Boots Botanics - Soothing Cleansing Balm

So I've lost count of how many out of 6 of these Boots Botanics products I have shown you.  If I hazard a guess, I would say this is number 4.

I've had this for absolutely ages now, and when my Liz Earle cleanser ran out, I decided that I should most probably move onto this before I buy anything else!  So this is Boots Botanics Soothing Cleansing Balm.

Nails Inc - The Donmar & Chelsea

You may remember me doing a post on Nails Inc - The Wyndham & Kensington, a beautiful dark teal with a flakie top coat.  Well this is the other duo I bought at the time - Nails Inc The Donmar & Chelsea.  This is also known at The Lily Gossip Girl Collection.

Internet soon....

Just an update to let you all know that I should have Internet from the 20th of December, which hopefully means I'll be back posting soon!

Hope the last rush of Christmas shopping isn't too stressful for you, and remember to buy yourself some treats too!

Moving House!

So today is the big move day!!!! So much to get done, but fingers crossed it will all run as smoothly as possible.

The blog will be quiet until we get the internet sorted, but at least it will give me plenty of time to get some swatching done and testing done! I may even be able to sneak up a couple of posts if I go into work early!

Wish me luck!

Boots 17 Magnetized Nail Polish - Grey/Gun Metal

So I'm sure you've all seen plenty of magnetic manicures by now, but I really loved mine when I wore it, so thought I would show it to you!

I've got a house!

So I posted a few days ago about house-hunting.  Well we have finally found one, it's all confirmed, and we should be moving in next Friday!  I'm really excited!

So apologies for being quiet, I'll hopefully get a post or two up between now and then!  I'm currently busy looking at and buying stuff for the house. It may also be a few weeks before we get internet at the house - scary!!!  I will try and keep you all up-to-date with what's going on!

Nails Inc - The Wyndham & Kensington

Ahhhhh! I'm currently in the middle of house hunting - and what a nightmare that is!  Everything out this way is so much more expensive than where I'm from.  What would get you a 3 bed-house back home, only gets you a bedsit here - so annoying!

But onto something slightly less stressful....nail varnish!  Today I'm showing you a duo set that I picked up on QVC quite a while ago, but didn't get around to posting about.  It's now been officially released - albeit under a different name, so I figured now would be a good time to show it to you.

This is the Nails Inc duo set of The Wyndham and Kensington.  This is known as the Gossip Girl Blair Collection on the Nails Inc website.

Children in Need 2011

Well it's the main day for Children in Need this year, with lots of fundraising events going on around the country.

My boyfriend's younger sister is having a non-uniform day at school today, as well as taking part in lots of events that her school is holding.  She said she wanted to paint her nails, so I offered to paint them for her in Children in Need style, and below is what I came up with:

I tried to make it match Pudsy's bandanna/bandage, hence all the polka dots!

I don't own a dotting tool, so I actually used spaghetti, and for a first attempt I don't think it came out too bad!

Colours used here are:
Red - China Glaze Ruby Deer
Green - Barry M NP284 Emerald Green
Yellow - Barry M NP134 Yellow
Blue - OPI Swimsuit Nailed It
White - Boots 17 Mini Skirt

Remember, if possible, please donate to Children In Need.  You can do so online, by clicking here

Boots Botanics - Sensitive Skin Calming Cream

Number 3 from my Boots Botanics shopping trip (from ages ago now) is Boots Botanics Sensitive Skin Calming Cream.

It's £6.12 for a 50ml pot of the cream, which is a bargain on it's own, but when you think that it also comes under the frequent 3 for 2 offers at Boots, then you can grab yourself a real steal!

Andrea Fulerton - Mischa VS Chanel - Graphite

So I promised a comparison between Andrea Fulerton Mischa and Chanel Graphite and here it is....

Chanel - Graphite

I'm pretty sure that everyone who loves nail polish, will have seen Chanel Graphite by now, but I wanted to add my backing to this gorgeous colour!

Chanel Graphite
Graphite is my first ever Chanel nail polish, and I was very lucky to be bought it by my boyfriend as a treat - I think me oggling it every time we walked past a Chanel counter was quite a big hint!

Andrea Fulerton - Mischa

I've previously shown you the Andrea Fulerton Gemstone Overcoat, but I haven't shown you any of the other Andrea Fulerton nail polishes I own.  Today is the turn of Andrea Fulerton - Mischa.

Barry M - Gold Foil

So, today is Barry M Instant Nail Effects Gold Foil day, following on from my post a couple of days ago, showing the silver foil.

Barry M Instant Nail Effects Gold Foil

There are two colours (so far) in the Barry M Instant Nail Effects foil collection - silver and gold.  Priced at £3.99 a bottle they aim to be a cheaper alternative to salon style nail foils (eg Minx).

Barry M - Silver Foil

My next two blog posts are going to be about two nail varnishes I saw advertised a little while ago, and then had to wait (I hate waiting) for them to come into store!

But as soon as they did, I had them.....and then I forgot about them...until now!  Today I will be showing you Barry M Silver Foil NP 319, and in a couple of days I will show you Barry M Gold Foil NP 320.

Barry M Silver Foil is part of Barry M's Instant Nail Effects range.  This range previously bought us crackle polishes, and now is bringing us foils.

Boots Botanics - Rosewater Toner

I've been house-sitting for a few relatives recently, which was really fun.  It meant I was close enough to work, to be able to walk there and back, faster than catching a bus from my current home, so I got to save some money!

However, I managed to forget my face wash for the second house.  I wear makeup everyday at work, so I knew I had to buy myself one for while I was staying there.  So all-in-all it turned out to be a perfect opportunity for me to try out a new skincare product.

I turned to my trusty local Boots store, and had a wander around.  There were a lot of products that were tempting, but I didn't want to break the bank just because I had forgotten my own face wash!

I ended up getting drawn to the Boots Botanics range as it's very reasonably priced and had a 3 for 2 deal on at the time......well one thing lead to another and I ended up with six things in my basket, but hey two of them were free!

Boots Botanics Rosewater Toner
So that gave me six things to review on here!  The first one I'm going to talk about is the Boots Botanics Rosewater Toner.

New posts soon!!!

It's been so cold down this way recently, and it's obvious with the dark mornings and dark nights that winter has definitely set in.

I love winter, the big coats, jumpers, hot chocolate and snuggling over the duvet.  However, as much as I love winter, it does pose a problem to a blogger like myself.

My posts mainly rely on photos, taken in daylight.  I'm working full time at the moment, so it means it's dark when I leave, and dark when I get back.  All this means it's really difficult to take photos for my blog (in which you can actually see anything), so I'm struggling to keep the posts coming!

Hopefully this will be soon resolved, as I've ordered myself a light tent, so hopefully I'll be able to take pictures at night, and get my blog back on track!!!

So please bear with me through this seasonal change!

Illamasqua - Gamma

So this is my first ever Illamasqua Nail Polish, well actually it's my first ever experience with Illamasqua.  To be honest I hadn't even heard of the brand until I started reading other beauty blogs!

But when I saw this colour on another blog I knew I had to buy it!!  Luckily Debenhams online store stocks it, and were offering up free delivery, so next thing I know it's arrived through the post - whoops!!

Nails Inc Little Miss Collection - Recap

So, I've somewhat intermittently shown the Nails Inc Little Miss Collection.
Nails Inc Little Miss Collection - Copyright Nails Inc

To see the individual posts, please click the links below:

So this post is just a quick swatch picture summary of the four colours...

Nails Inc Little Miss Chatterbox

Nails Inc Little Miss Sunshine

Nails Inc Little Miss Naughty

Nails Inc Little Miss Splendid
I loved all of the colours in the collection and they definitely made welcome additions to my nail polish collection.  The application of all the colours was really easy and had great finishes.  I'm definitely looking forward to wearing all of these colours again!

Just remember that from my experience these colours do not work well with OPI Start to Finish!

All of the colours can be seen, and some still purchased on the Nails Inc website priced at £12 each.

What did you think of the Little Miss Collection? Would you wear any of these colours?
