There are two colours (so far) in the Barry M Instant Nail Effects foil collection - silver and gold. Priced at £3.99 a bottle they aim to be a cheaper alternative to salon style nail foils (eg Minx).

The picture above shows one coat over one coat of Seche Clear base coat, and no top coat. It's quite a pale gold, by that I mean not as yellow as salon style foils. It applied easily in one coat, with the same runny but highly pigmented formula as the silver one. Again you can't play around with it with the brush on the nail too much as it can get a little streaky, but overall it produces a very smooth effect.
Again it has more of a matte foil effect, than the mirror like salon foils, but does reflect the light as a foil would.
Overall I'm very impressed with these nail varnishes. Whilst they may not match up to salon style foils exactly, the Barry M Instant Nail Effect Foils really are stunning nail varnishes that produce a really unique effect, and at £3.99 a bottle, you can't really go wrong! I would definitely recommend them!
